Background: single 250BTXR with digital throttle and square CL gauges. Confirmed with boat manufacturer that there is only one CL multihub in console.
I realize there are a lot of threads out there regarding expanding the CL network but I need to get down to specifics before ordering parts. I want to connect to my Garmin 4210 but my hub ports are full. I know that I need a multiport hub and a 1ft bus cable. My questions are:
1) does the bus cable connect from bus port to bus port (gray to gray)?
2) do I need a red cap to cover the power outlet on the new hub?
3) do I need 2 white caps to cover the new unused devise ports?
4) does the power from my original hub power the new hub via the bus cable?
