ox66 versus carb ?

hi there
i am looking to repower my twin 1989 225 excel setup with a pair of 2003 vx250
and i was interested in some comments on these motors, the excels runs great cheap and easy to maintain but they are getting old..
what kind of advantage/ dissadvantage do you see ? better fuel consump speed ect..

They are good engines, may see a little better fuel economy but probaby not much if any.
