20 amp fuse blown,top cyl not firing-CDI problem?
Late last summer my 50TLR 2-stroke wouldn't start,bad cell in battery-replaced. Still wouldn't start, found 20 fuse blown (not sure of everything it feeds). Started but ran very rough and would not idle-adjusted. Found top cylinder plug wet, assumed it was not firing, replaced plugs and fuel/water separator filter. slight improvement in operation, but still top plug not firing.
The East coast storm that hit before Labor Day weekend was coming, so I pulled the boat and got it in storage. Looking for suggestions about this problem, including troubleshooting info. before I go back to Maine in the spring.
