Model number tag missing

The model number tag that should be on the transom mount is missing on my 50HP Yamaha. Is there any other way of identifying the model? It makes this difficult ordering parts ect.

You can look at engine block to see if can find serial number sticker or number stamped into aluminum plug in block.

There is what appears to be a serial number sticker on top of the block. How do you determine the model/year from the serial number?
