yamaha tach gauge

just got a new boat and the yamaha tach is not correctly reading rev's. i took out the rubber gromet from the back. was wondering if anyone noes what order the 3 switches inside need to be in in order for it to read correctly for a 3 cylinder 2 stroke?

You need to give a complete model#!!!! What HP? 3 cyl ain't enough info.
