Boat: 2000 skeeter pro 185
Motor: V150TLRY
Prop: 25M Stainless

Problem: At low to moderate speed, the boat wants to track hard right. At high speed if you turn loose of wheel it will turn right.Trim tab has been moved to the most extreme for that condition on lower unit. Any ideas?
Thanks

2 words... hydraulic steering.

if there is anything that will counter the torque other than hydraulic, ive never heard about it.

Tom,
Which direction are you turning the trim tab?
The trailing edge of the trim tab should be turned to the right (starboard) to counter torque steering for a right hand prop.
I have Teleflex zero-feedback steering on my 2000 C115 - purely mechanical - low maintenance, and I love it . Takes a little getting use to, but torque steering is no more.
Good luck ,

jb123 has it nailed. That torque tab doesnt do much when the motors trimed up. Do you have a way to raise and lower the motor? Jack plate? Or raise the motor one hole and see if that helps.
