200 2 stroke wont plane ???

I own a 2001 200 ox66 2 stroke that has been terrific!
But just last week I took the boat out and it started and idled and ran fine up to 1800 rpm . When I tried to get on plane and hit the throttle the engine just ran the same , it did not quit or bog down , it just kept running at the
1800 rpm and would not try to accelerate .I repaced fuel filters about 1 year ago , and the boat did sit for 3 months , but I start it up and run it every
2 weeks .Any ideas???

Run a compression test, check fuel filters for water or trash, run fuel pressure and vacumn test, check for spark at spark plugs, test warning buzzer to see if working.

why test the warning buzzer ???

If it's in rpm reduction the buzzer should sound and rpm's reduce to about 2000 rpm's.
