1993/1988 70hp question

I have a 1988 70 and have a chance to pick up a 1993 with no lower unit reasonable. Anyone know if they are the same ? The #s are nearly exact when looking at them on this sites parts breakdown.

Not sure what parts you wanting to use but there was some changes in electrical components and the mounting holes in block itself.
