I have a 1990 150 HP Yamaha pro V two stroke, I recently rebuilt the carbs replaced all the jets etc. I can't get the idle adjustments correct to get the motor to idle correctly? It coughs and then stalls? Any help is appreciated.
On some of these motors the carb jets vary from carb to carb...you didn't mix up the jets during re-assembly? Did you do the lync and sync procedure as outlined in the manual? The pilot screws should be set by the book also. Do you have a manual? Are the carbs passages really clean? Good Luck!
