I don't think there is a separate manual. The instructions for use are in the outboard manual, at least they are for mine.

You can try here http://www.yamaha-motor.com/outboard...home/home.aspx I think most of the newer four strokes owners manuals have basic tach set up info. You can view the owner manuals online maybe even print. good luck
