F70LA Mounting bolts question

The length of the bolts are a mile too long and look dangerous sticking out the back of the boat. Any problems with cuting them flush with the nut?

Only one light lit up on my dash so the dealer leaves a lot to be desired. Who would I write to at Yamaha?

You can cut them if you want, may cause problems if need to remove nuts from bolts. Not sure what light in dash it is but if its has to do with gauges then that is dealer set up issue and dealer would be best to contact about problem.
