When the boat main disconect switch is turned on and the engine is cranked up the meter shows 14 or so volts untill the engine is shut down and cranked again. It then shows battery voltage (12.4, 12.2). It may not charge again untill I shut off the disconect for a number of hours and crank it again. What could be the problem?
