Gas Tank

I am currently using a 6 gal plastic gas tank, however i would sure like to use a older metal tank that came with the evinrude engines, however it has accumulated a lot of rust inside and is unusable. Any one know how to get rid of the rust inside and the crude that would make it usable.

Throw it away and buy a new one if you want a metal tank
