my 25hp 2stroke seems to run great for a while and then it loses all power. I have been told to start with the fuel supply, and the spark. I am new to owning a outboard and any help would be greatly apperciated.

sounds like fuel supply interruption. check primer ball and tank vent. -
primer ball is working i was running without tank vent open but my friend enlightened me on that. I ran it yesterday for maybe 15 minutes then it lost power. then we would wait a bit look around at the motor, and upon restart power would be back but for only a short time then same thing. so we switched fuel andtried running it again. I think at this time the plugs were fouled. I will try replacing them and running it again. Hopefully it was my lack of knowledge, that made the motor run poorly.Comment
