How can you tell if the ECM is bad on the outboard , my boat is in the repair shop right now and was suppose to pick up friday afternoon . I told them I would just pick it up monday untill I got a phone call and now they are telling me my ECM is bad . Thursday when I was talking with mechanic he told me everything was good except for the digital tach gauge due to bar above temp symbol blinking. No alarms or anything just blinking bar that was driving me crazy so I took it to let them check it out. I just dont know what to do or if they are trying to rip me off. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
