    Hi everyone,

I am new in this forum.

I am looking into buying a cruise control kit to be used in an outboard boat used for waterskiing. anyone knows of what can do the trick.

    Thanks
    M

you can just tighten throttle linkage if it pulls back slowly

I really do not think running a boat on cruse control is a wise idea.

Reminds me of the story of a motor home heading down the highway and the driver put it on cruse control and headed to the back to the head

I am really not joking. As you know most ski boat (nautique, moomba, supra ...) offer cruise control (zero off GPS, perfect pass...) as it is essential for the guy behind the boat.

I don't see why installing it on an outboard is such a huge surprise...

anyone knows of a way to do this?

you might want to check with mastercraft as they put out one outboard/barefoot line with the pro series, but ive never seen one if so
