Oil on side of engine

Hello,
I recently purchased a Lund with a 2000 25hp 2-stroke Yamaha 25MLHY outboard.
It runs great and always starts first or second pull.
After using it I see oil on the side of the engine. I wash it off when I flush the engine, but it is there after each use of the engine. Any ideas what this is from and what to do about it?

That looks just like ours did.

I found fuel weeping from the bowl and top cover carb gaskets and bowl drain screws. Replacing the gaskets and o-rings eliminated the weep and reduced the staining, but not completely. I'm guessing ours now comes from fuel draining from the jets into the intake barrel, out the intake and into the cowling.

I'm really interested in what others are experiencing.
