  • Stopped charging again!

I had the same charging problem a few weeks ago. I replaced the rectifier/regulator and it was charging fine for a few trips. Now it's not charging again. I checked the fuse on the engine, it looks ok. I started to trace wires and accidentally pulled a red wire from the regulator/rectifier.

Everything went dead. The socket is under the starter bracket. It's too late today for this big job, the boat is parked on the water (making the job even tougher), but I also noticed that another red wire with a male plug was loose.

So, I looked at my service manual (Seloc) and I cannot find a wiring diagram to match my motor. It is a 2005 50hp TLR(D?) 2-stroke model with 3 pulsar coils.

If anybody has anything that can help me (for example an electrical diagram for this engine) it would mean SO MUCH for me!

I'm hoping that the rectifier/regulator didn't go bad after a few hours of driving already...

The battery looks like it's holding a charge.

    Thank you,
    Metric
