C115,1994, grease fitting

The owners manual that came with my 1994 Yamaha C115 shows one grease fitting that is under the cowling. All the other fittings are external. You can get to this one fitting from the starboard side but its very hard to see and very hard to get to with a grease gun. What is lubricated by grease in this fitting? How do I know when I've pumped enough grease in this fitting? Thanks!
