LF250 Water Pressure Gauge

My pressure gauge at the dash has stopped working. I disconnected the hose from the motor and rain the motor flush hose. I get no water coming from the coupling on the motor so I figure the outlet coupler is clogged on the motor. But I can not figure out how to get to the hose connection. It is up under the starboard side of the block behind the shifter cable. It is a brass nipple and the water hose is connected with a spring clamp. How do
you get the nipple off to clean the outlet ?? Thanks for any help.

Haven't tried to get to it but may be able to take side apron off to gain access to bottom of it.
