Rodbolt, ox66 oil linkage, question on your post

You replied to a post for excessive oil consumption that I have been reading. I have one 2001, SX250 using almost double the oil its mate. I am not understanding where to measure the .005-.020 gap you referred to in the post. I also need to check the color of my linkage arm. Was there an upgrade here? A quick review would be appreciated before I screw something up.....Thanks
