1987 Yamaha 175 ETH--Very Loud on the Water
I have a 1987 Yamaha 175 ETH and idling, at full speed, at half speed, all the time, it is very loud. I believe the previous owner tweeked the exhaust to make is sound "beefy", I like it at first, but now (after 4 years of listing to it) I am tired of the noise, you can't say a word while riding in the boat. Just too stinkin' noisy. Any pointers on toning it down? Please let me know.
