80hp 4 stroke question

My engine's idle is slightly spuradic and it will spit when it does it, any ideal what the cause is and if it's an easy fix? Also it will stall on me when I get to the dock and drop my buddy off to get the trailer, has me scratching my head.

Probably running too lean, may need carbs removed and cleaned, synchronized.
