Hope some one can help, I have an alarm buzzer going off periodicly with my guage flashing an arrow at the temp. icon. Durring this time the engine will run rough and I idle down and wait for about a minute until the buzzer stops. The engine is still pumping out water (strong stream) and doesnt seem to be over warm, just wondering if this may be a heat sensor or maybe a thermosstat problem. any sugestions would be helpful.

When the alarm sounds, take the cover off, and put your hands on top of the left and the right side of the cylinders.
If you cannot keep your hand on for more than a couple of seconds, the you are probably overheating.
As you describe the issue, you should first check/replace the thermostats.
