2001 OX66 Oil Gauge

I have a 01 225HP OX66 and the Oil gauge just recently starting flashing. When I start the engine the left most indicator will flash for a while then it will switch to the middle indicator flashing. This may flash all day or go out after a while.

I removed and cleaned the remote tank and installed a new in line filter and verified that the level sender was not stuck. I also changed the filter in the engine tank and also made sure the sender was not sticking.

Engine runs fine.

Any thoughts????

May have wire corrosion problem, check wiring harness going to boat oil tank.
