I'll admit Newbie status b/c I need the cavalry ! I'm convinced this lower unit has ever been off & this is ~ 1988 motor. I've applied PB Blaster 12x, WD 40 6x, and CRC "freeze off" (not impressed) 2x , and also HEAT with torch and E. Coast climate -- after also trying the unusual: strapping on an ice pack. The same 2 bolts on port side will move only 1/4" total back and forth. Just more patience OR forget and bring out the 3' pipe ? I've removed 1 and also broken off one of the opposing side. The anode one doesn't drop out completely.. don't get that either.
