I lost my trim tab so I bought part number 6L6-45371-00 but actually I should have gotten 6E545371-00 Does anybody know the diffierence? the 6L6-45371-00 fits my engine but the prop is within 1/4" from the trim tab, is this normal
A miss is as good as a mile in this case, but if it worries you, do a bit of grinding on the tab to increase the clearance, to maybe 5/16" or 3/8" or whatever feels better! Good Luck!
