new tach

I have a 96 200 hp yamaha type 6G6-UL model S200 TXRU. I am new at this,but have searched my manual for poles and pulses and have not located this information. Need help with this info. THANK FOR EVERTHING IIIIII

Hook up/install tach, run motor, change pole settings on back until you get a "normal" RPM reading. Good Luck!
