Is there a way to test the 1)high water temp and 2)low oil pressure alarms on a F250?

Also, should the alarm sound when the key is turned on and the safety lanyard is off?

Yes, alarm will sound if you try to start with lanyard pulled. Need a manual to test individual warning circuit.
