Hi.
My manual mentions a max fuel consumption of 49 liters per hr @ 5500 rpms.
My girl drinks at WOT more than 59 liters per hr @ 5700 rpms, measured with the Lowrance fuel flow sensor, which I trust to be quite accurate in the range of +- 3%.
Any ideas why this is happening ?
New fuel pump, thoroughly cleaned carbs with new carb parts as needle, floats and gasket, timing checked.
By the way its most economical fuel consumption is between 4000-4300 rpms, where the figure is 0,8-0,85 nm per liter... which is more than 20%-25% higher than the figures listed in Yamaha bulletins for this motor...
