I have a question pertaining to the Pressure control valve on my motor.
I ordered P/N # 6G5-12416-00-00 off website.
I received P/N # 60H-12416-00.
The pressure control valve off my motor does not look like what I received. My control valve has 2 cross ends on it. one is 1/2 inch long that goes into the the compression spring. The other end is the same as new one that goes into the grommet. Do I have the correct replacement and if so what end do I put into the grommet. The cross end or the button end without any thing to line up the spring on that end. Thanks in advance for replies.

You received the upgraded valve. The mushroom head goes against the grommet. The crossed end goes into the spring. Apparently the old style was sticking in the grommet so they changed the design. You bought a new grommet and housing gasket right?
