I have a 99 Yamaha 200 that keeps overheating. I had a new impellar installed, but the issue persists. When the boat is in gear at idle it overheats after 10 - 20 minutes. When I am running the boat it never happens, only when the boat is at low RPM's. Example - After boat idles and overheats, I will shut off the engine until it cools, fire it up and run the boat no problem, drop down to idle and it will overheat after 10 - 20 minutes. I assumed the impellar would fix this. Any ideas what the issue may be??? I would assume if the thermostat was sticking closed, it would overheat when I am at High RMS's also. Any information would be appreciated..
