07 150 2 stroke, idle speed at full throttle

Today when accelerating, my engine stalled out. When I retarted the engine, it would only go idle speed at full throttle. The engine has less than 60 hours. Hoping someone can help me out with this if it is something simple. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person.

Don't know what model you have but start with compression test, run spark test and check fuel system, if fuel injected then have fuel pressure tests done.

check throttle cables, be sure they are moving linkage @ motor
is it going in and out of gear?
