L150etxg need help fast

i got stranded on the lake today when my 1988 l150etxg did not want to start after 2 hours of trying i finally got it to go and i raced in but my primer ball was sucked flat anybody got any ideas on why that would happen? all the help i can get is greatly appreciated

Sounds like you have a restriction in the fuel line.
Possible bad check valve in primer bulb, pinched line, bad anti-siphon valve, or plugging pick up in tank. Or maybe just a plugged vent causing a vacuum to form on the tank
