Yahama 90hp, 1995 Top Mount Dampers

How do you change out the Top two Mount Dampers - I have a lot of play in mine, the bottom two mount dampers feel very secure and tight. The bottom ones can be accessed from the side covers, the top has me a little baffled - can I lower the cowl cover, or I have heard you have to take the motor completely apart to gain access. I can not find this in any of the maintainance manuals.

If you are talking about the upper motor mounts then the powerhead would have to be removed to get to mounts.

That is what I thought - thanks so much for the answer - looks like a winter project along with painting the hull.
