F25 Propeller Question

I have a 1999 F25 and the prop has some movement on the shaft - in and out movement of about 3/16". Is some slack normal? Seems like the prop should be fit snug with no play. The castle nut may be good for another turn before the cotter pin is at the end of it. There is one washer on the inside of the castle nut, just like in the parts diagram. Any ideas? Thanks from a newbie.

Prop nut should be torqued down to 25 ft lbs.
