2000 c-90 yamaha outboard motor

running full thottle after 3 to 4 min. horn sounds and motor returns to idle.

replaced themostat and water pump impeller, problem still there. Any help

Hello,does this motor have a resavoir on the power head,stbd side?did you check oil level?

C-90 is a premix model, so must be temperature related issue. Is motor peeing out the back O.K.?

If you have new thermostat and water pump then you probably have a passage blockage problem and will have to disassemble to clean, unless you have a problem with the way you did the water pump or the new stat is bad

no it does not

yes it appears to flow free out of the wittness tube
