I have a 2008 Yamaha 60 Tiller model. I pulled the connector from the tiller to engine and found I had a corroded pin on the tiller side of the plug. Is it possible to buy a new plug?
Has anyone taken apart the connector and independently connected each wire?
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the main harness for the '08 F60 TLR?
I was contemplating just butt-splicing all the connections,(as new wiring harness is $700.00) but I found that the colors do match on each side of the connector. Can I just line up the pins and splice accordingly. Just want to be cautious and ask, since the colors are all different on each side of the plug.
