    Hey everyone,

I've found a couple opinions on how to flush your motors on other forums and wanted to ask all of you. I recently purchased two T50's that come with the hose adapter to flush the motors. These seem really simple and convenient however I am concerned that the water pump (since its not spinning) isn’t being cleaned, and also the thermostat (since its not open) isn’t being cleaned or restricting water flow throughout the motor.

SO... do you guys use the hose adapter or ear muffs? AND... if you use the adapter, do you run the motor at the same time?

    Thanks!

Use both and run motor, get the best of both

I did that and still burned up an impeller. I'm on a well and must have below average water pressure. I got a used plastic 55-gal drum and it works great. Decarbon and flush at the same time in the Fall.
