I tested mine by running the engine up to operating temp. The boat should really be in the water for this test. Once the engine is up to temp. Check the output voltage of the sensor. You should see a voltage range of roughly .35-.7 volts. And it should fluctuate back and fourth rapidly if working correctly. They also say to cover up the hole in the #1 throttle blade ( richen it up) and see if the reading changes. The shop manual will show which harness to measure for output voltage.

    Good Luck
    Mike

Do the tech bulletins have any info worth talking about?
So is it possible to test the 02 sensor on the motor without testing cable?, and if so would you be so kind as to share that info.

the test harness makes it easy, the same can be achived with paper clips and jumper leads and a bit of tape.
slip the paper clip up the wire and tape it in place and attacth jumper leads to them.

How important is the Ohms Resistance of the heater in the 02 sensor, I checked mine and it's 0 but I hooked my 2 amp battery charger up to it and it gets hot?
