Tilt alignment problem

I have an '05 150. Recently the alignment of the motor/mount is so bad that the motor rubs the mount when lowering the tilt. The installer is blaming the engine bracket saying "it's twisted", but I'm not so sure. The installer says it's not going to hurt the tilt motor either.

What could cause this to happen? The motor has 58 hours.

They do touch when trimming down, but if the bracket is twisted or something wrong with it I'm sure Yamaha will replace it.
