I have lcd guages on 1992 200Q engine. the low oil and overheat lights are flashing all the time, no buzzer. It doesnt matter if the engine is running or not.
Any thoughts... bad gauge??

No, oil injection system works fine. and engine temp is right where it should be. engine does not go into " low rpm return to port mode" while lights are flashing. I can go out to boat a day later, turn key switch to just ON and lights flash. trying to figure out how to test wiring to gauge and I am guessing the buzzer should be sounding???Comment

your describing a classic symptom of a replacement tach that is set for 4 stroke not 2 stroke.
thats what it does.
can you post a picture of the front and back of the tach?Comment

they are the original gauges.oil and temp working fine one day, flashing the next. mechanic thinks bad gauge???????????Comment
