Float level C40tlrw

Anyone got the float level for my C40 1998. The gaskets are O rings so I figure any measurement made calling for gasket in place must be for some other engine. Assembeled the carb body and float chamber are flush. My last carb. kit was aftermarket, Ill never do that again. The O rings turned to gum and the low speed jet plugs were gooo. I only use non-ethanol mid grade from Quarles energy service and Yamaha 2 cycle oil. That limits the cause to lousy aftermarket junk. I hope to get float level from someone with a Yamaha manual for my engine. I have a manual but it covers loads of engines, makes me a little gun shy from past experience and I want this to be my last carb. job for a long time. thanks all, hope someone got some numbers for me.
