Yamamha 4 stroke outboard 9.9 1999

I just had a mechanic change the oil and lubricate my outboard engine (Yamaha 4 stroke 9.9 hp). It starts ok but as soon as I increase the speed it stalls. They suggested it was a problem with the gas but it is new. Any suggestions.

you most likly have a clogged dirty carb.
