1989 115 shudder

I'm working on an 89 115 that idles smooth and runs fine at mid range and top end but off idle between 1200 and around 1600 rpm it shakes and shudders. Doesn't sound smooth in that range.

Carbs are clean and plugs are new.

Hi Bquick, my C115 has a flat spot or miss at the same speed, I live with it as I very rarely trawl or idle in gear. I think it is timing related but have not spent too much time troubleshooting it.

I think he is right timeing might have jumped out a little. I have heard of the 115 jumping out of timeing but not sure might just put the timming light on just to check, gl
