Guages?command link or the Lowrance HDS-5

I have a 2011 F70LA Yamaha outboard W/ console and am wondering which would be the better way to go.I have no guages currently.Should I get the command link tach or was thinking that if I get the Lowrance HDS-5 I could run my engine vitals thru the locator/plotter and see things more easier on the bigger screen.I checked and the Lowrance is NEMA2000 compatible.Is one or the other more dependable or accurate?easier to hook up? I would go with the Yamaha Command Link square gauges, they will give you more information.
