Parts Warrenty

I have been told that Yamaha has NO WARRENTY on their parts if they are replaced by a recall or warrenty repair. The only way a part will have a warrenty is if you pay for it. If that part fails then any damage done is not covered by Yamaha either. To me that sounds wrong. Should we be giving our repair shops $20.00 no matter what...just so we paid something?
