F115 AETX error code 28

I have a 2001 F115 with about 600hrs run time. If I drop revs rapidly (eg emergency stop), the engine will stall and will be a little slow re-starting. When it does re-start, the 'engine' symbol will repeat a 2+8 flashing pattern. Engine still runs OK and at later switch off and restart, error indicator has gone. Any ideas what this means?

Code 28 is Incorrect shift position switch, if it stalled when still in gear it may trigger that code.

Hi guys, any tips on how to clear fault code 28 when it does arise? Is it just a matter of disconnecting and reconnecting the battery?

Turning key off and back on will reset it.
