    I had a dealer support tech at Kennesaw argue with me about that "relief" valve, was told it could not happen.

    but can you tell me what a "cover nut" is ?
    Would that be an Acorn nut, dome nut or closed nut?

    Yamaha mechanics at dealers should not be calling Yamaha US with some of the questions they have and Yamaha US should say they don't know if they don't know. It is a male problem that prevents some guys, mostly younger ones, from admitting they don't know stuff.

    But I do fault Yamaha Japan for the lack of adequate data they offer.

    The more I know, the more I know that I don't know.
