  • 2002 150TXRA wiring issues

I'm new to the forum and to Yamaha outboards. I recently purchased a 2002 150TXRA. A couple of days ago I decided to clean the engine, inspection, etc. On the left side of the engine (opposite of starter) I noticed two (2) 4-pin plugs that were not connected. The female plug had three wires: Pink, Black & Gray, the male plug had two wires: Green /Black strip & Green /Red strip. Oil sensor connector at motor" plug. But only a guess at this point.

Could someone provide information on the purpuse of these connectors?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

they are for correctly rigging the engine to the tach.
    obviously yours is not.
there are NO sensors for the oiling system on that engine.
always refer to the engine as port and stbd.
